Real BEAR!

We actually saw a real wild bear in the wild at Yellowstone! That was a first time for me! You usually get to see lots of Buffalo (scientific name: Bison bison), elk, dear, bald eagles, moose... so cool! Here are our friends TanniBree and her husband Chris Stevenson. This is good ol' Faithful!

Bear and Wolf Center / Yellowstone

Isn't this the coolest couch you have ever seen? This was the whole group that went. I want this big teddy bear couch in my house some day... and you can all come and sit on it.

This is at Yellowstone and my fourth time going there in 3 years. I love it! If any of you have not been there please be our guest and come and visit. We live only a couple of hours away.
This is a thermal pool named after me...pretty cool huh?

This is the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone! So beautiful! I didn't want to post all the cool geyser, thermal, and mud pots because you have to come and see it for yourself. There is a reason why Yellowstone is the first National Park in the world!
(As you can tell Blake is not in this picture because he was taking a little cat nap in the car. He drove in one of the cars for us while we got to sleep.)

Three weeks left

It seems like I am never able to slow down. I guess I really like not to be bored though. There is only 3 weeks left of summer semester left. I am super excited for my 7 week break before fall semester. I have been going to college almost year round since I have started. My sister-in-law Shelly is in town with her super cute kids Paige (3 years old) and Dillion (9 months old) for 5 weeks. I can't wait till school is out so I can pay with my niece and nephew. They are super cute!

Yes I said Glow in the Dark Dodgeball!

Freaky picture huh? I took this picture at a random moment in time and it turned out super weird so I had to post it...lol I bet you can't guess who it is...Blake's aunt Yvonne came up with this awesome game of glow in the dark dodgeball. We went to Adam's Elementary (where Blake's mom teaches 3rd grade) and everyone had to where a glow stick around their neck and then the balls had glowsticks in them. I wish I took a picture of them or took a video of the game because it was so cool! All the lights where turned off and the only things you could see where the balls and the necklace around the person. It was super stinkin fun!

Blake broke open a glow stick and put it on his hands. Pretty cool :)

This is Amber's and mines pose for dodgeball. Remeber the 5 d to dodgball: dodge, duck, dive, dip, dodge

Saturday Afternoon

After the party , we went over to the Weimer grandparents. The grandparents just recently purchased Blake's house that he grew up in. Blake grew up right next to his grandparents. We went through the house and it was fun for me to see where he grew up.This is on our grandparents porch. I am holding Amber and Brandon's dog Brucie. He is a super cute Yorkie! I want a dog!

This is in Blake's old house in the storage room. It is kinda freaky because it is big and you have to crawl through it. Blake use to play in here when he was a little kid.

Grandma Stewart's 80th Birthday Bash!

There was a big celebration for Blake's grandma's 80th birthday. We had lunch and a program at Ameritel Inn. Lots of relatives came and fun kids to play with!

Amber, my sister in law, is our families official photographer. She rocks at her picture and editing skills! She took all the pictures at the party.

A Tribute to my Husband

I just wanted to show everyone where Blake works for the school. He works at AV Productions in the Library to support our college needs. Blake is such an amazing and wonderful husband. He works super hard in school and at work.
This is Blake taking care of a customer, as you can see he is super helpful. The faculty at the school ask to talk to him by name.
I just wanted to say 5 quick things about what I love about Blake.
1.) He works hard from morning till night; he learned it from working on his grandpa's farm.
2.) He is super stinkin funny and makes me laugh everyday by his cute comments and his facial expressions. He is so kind and loving to me!
3.) He helps me around the house and with dinner every night because we are both so busy.
4.) He doesn't like to watch tv and he doesn't really care to even watch sports on tv.... I love it!
5.) He always wants to do fun and adventurous outings; there is never a dull moment when we are together.

Teton Dam Marathon! 26.2 Miles

After four months of intense training, the day of the marathon is finally here!
The morning of the race I had to wake up at 4:30am. Talk about early. My wonderful husband helped me to get ready and we picked up two of my other running buddies Jen Ogden and her friend Lisa. All the runners had to meet at Madison High School at about 5 am to be bused over to the Teton Dam. I was super excited!
The race started at 6:30 am at the Dam site. It was a perfect beautiful still morning. Everything was going good until about the 17 mile. My stomach started having really bad nausea. My running buddy Jen Ogden (who I also met at a BYU Dance camp back in 2004), stayed with me the whole time. What a friend! I called up Blake from some random volunteers phone and asked him to get me some Sprite and Peptobismol. When I drank that it totally helped my stomach. Do you see the porypottie on the side of the road? Yep, I pretty much used like half of them lol.
I love running in Idaho because of all the farms everwhere. It's so beautiful! I just want to say a great big thank you to Jen who stayed with me through the whole race when I was not feeling good because I slowed down quit a bit and she was doing great. It felt so good to go through the finish line! Woot Woot!
I also want to say thank you to my wonderful husband who has been so supportive with my training and being there foe me! What a hot tamale!

Dissections

In my zoology class we do dissections just about every week in lab. We have so far dissected round worms, earth worms, squid, and a sea star. This Thursday(June 12) we dissected a Dog Fish Shark. I was going to post the actual dissection but I didn't know if any of you are queasy. There is a funny story attached to this shark: After my lab partner and I dissected in the cavity, my lab partner tells me to look at what he is doing. He pressed down on the Urogenital papilla and out squirted white stuff all over his face (yes that is sperm). I just about died I laughed so hard. Everyone in the class turned around and I tried explaining through my laughter and all I could say was "Urogenital papilla". Everyone in the class started laughing... that was great fun.

Training

This is my running partner Jen Ogden. Saturday (5/7/08) we did our last long run before our marathon! Blake dropped us out in the farm lands by Kelly Canyon.
This is at the end of our run. This spring has been pretty cold, lots of rain, and very windy! We are glad to be done.

Spring Break

There is an awesome petting zoo here. We got to feed and pet the deers and other animals.

Pig! It made funny noises
This is on the curator tour where we stand in this big truck and get to feed 10 to 20 black bears only a couple feet away. They do tricks for you to get the food. Can you see our shadows?
At Bear World I got to pet the baby bear, its fur was actually soft.

The Jimmy Eat World Concert/ Paramore Concert in Pocatello, ID! It was a lot of fun!

This is called Landscape Arch in Devils Garden. It was super fun to hike around to all the many cool arches.
Blake and I free climbed our way on top of this arch. It was really fun!
The famous Delicate Arch! It is a 1 1/2 mile to the big beautiful arch. Blake and I booked up the hill to see it before the sun set.

Hey Everyone! I have been slow at starting this processing of blogging. I need to put up some pictures for you all to see. It won't be too long hopefully.
