HOwdy Doody

Well school is still going and there are only three more weeks left of it! I cannot believe how fast it has gone! I am so busy with school assignments, being a wife, callings, ect. Everyday just zooms by so quick. I wish I had more time to blog but I find myself extremely tired by the end of the day.

I only have one more core semester of classes before I student teach! I am so excited to be a biology (and/or possibly a health) teacher. I know that sounds nerdy, but let's face it, I am a nerd bomber. I am going to be a crazy, weird science teacher that is going to make school fun everyday.

The other day Blake was registering for winter semester classes. We were looking at the required classes he needs to take for his mechanical engineering major. Well, he has 2-3 years of attending BYU-I to get his undergrade. He is doing so well in school and I am very proud of him. He is still working at the Cenntennial Grain Elevator and comes home a very dirty man from his hard labor job. He is extremely ready to come back to school and study hard.

This last Friday we went to the Warren Miller film at Westwood Theatre to watch "Children of Winter." Boy was it good! That movie makes me wanna jump on board and go riding. I am excited for the snow to come. We are going skiing/snowboarding in one more month.

On Saturday, we meet up with our friends Joe and Jacque for dinner and a movie. Blake and I hardly ever go to a new released movie, we are way too poor ro fork out that kind of dough. We saw "Quantum of Solace." The movie fufilled all James Bond's expectations for adventure and love. Daniel Craig is by far my favorite actor for James Bond; he is very talented.

I hope you are all having a wonderful joyous Sabbath.

We saw James Bond too! Lincoln is STILL talking about it. He has not-so-secret James Bond fantasies.

I love all the titles for your emails/blogs. I think you are so cute!

YEAH student teaching! In Az? YEAH! You will be such a good teacher! I'm so excited for you! Student Teaching will be loads of fun, and loads of work, but don't worry about that.

Have fun getting ready for the snow and the mountain! It's calling out to you!

Love you so much!

I'm feeling the finals crunch myself. I'm so excited to relax over Thanksgiving. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've never been so excited for Thanksgiving. We still haven't even seen Lauren! Sad. I didn't know Blake had so much school left. I guess that makes sense though. We saw James Bond last weekend. I liked it but not as much as Casino Royale.
Kisses!

Blake and Celeste:
You both are so amazing! Celeste, you will make a marvelous science teacher! You will be fun and interesting and the students will love coming to your class. I think you really got inspiration in that area of your life. You could have been a music teacher so easily, too, but if you want to teach, being a science teacher will be a much easier position to find.
You and Blake are incredible with your snow and out-door adventure activities. I think Dad is jealous so much of the time! He especially would love going all the places you do!
Blake's mechanical engineering major is so commendable! I have learned in life that anything worthwhile takes longer to achieve. It is a difficult major, but in the long run, Blake will have so many more employment opportunities. Rebecca Smith was telling me that anymore it takes students an average of 5 to 6 years to get a bachelor's degree. (That does not include a mission). The day will come when you both will be through school and you will look back with fond memories of this time. Blake is such a macho man, too! He is an incredibly hard worker which has greatly blessed your family.
Last night as a family we went to Quantum for Spencer's birthday. We think Daniel Craig is the most athletic of all the Bonds- Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan never jumped and leaped and fought or got as beat up as Craig.
We can hardly wait to see you both for Christmas! We are counting the days!
Love Always, Mother and Dad
